When I lock the screen - After a while, Ubuntu "fires up" the fan for a couple of minutes, then completely shuts down

This doesn't happen every time, but about half the times, when I lock the screen (Win+L) or close the lid. My system may crash after a couple of minutes in standby mode. The fans are working at full speed for a minute or two and then the system completely shuts down. After this - I can turn the laptop on and It'll load normally (No open applications or processes are preserved, of course).
The issue only occurs when I lock the screen or close the lid on a laptop, otherwise - the system works fine.

My laptop: HP ProBook 450 G6;
My System: Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS (Linux version 5.0.0-31-generic (buildd@lgw01-amd64-046) (gcc version 7.4.0 (Ubuntu 7.4.0-1ubuntu1~18.04.1)) #33~18.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Tue Oct 1 10:20:39 UTC 2019)

Also, I was monitoring the crash with the journactl-tool. It's tracked as *Reboot* in the system and before each crash - I see those lines in the journal:

Got this error on dpkg -i

What is the output of:

uname -a

If it is amd64 then grab this deb and install it:
https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v5.4-rc1/linux-modules-5.4.0-050400rc1-generic_5.4.0-050400rc1.201909301433_amd64.deb

Nope It's intel.
I was able to update the kerner afterall (Installed all except linux-image-unsigned-5.4.0-050400rc1-lowlatency )

uname -a is now showing the latest version:
Linux vtl-HP-ProBook-450-G6 5.4.0-050400rc1-generic #201909301433 SMP Mon Sep 30 18:37:54 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Since the issue isn't recurrent and happens at random times - I'd have to monitor for a while to se if it's resolved.

Nope. I'm using it for web development. Haven't even launched the native Ubuntu player, not to mention creating music)

Well, Just following the advice above (Seems to be helping me so far).
Not sure if my kernel was (or is) lowlatency. I haven't updated it manually before today.
