Hi, I downladed Ubuntu ISO but it does not work on VirtualBox when I try to run Linux

Following is the error. I amtrying to boot Linux on VirtualBox with ISO but following error keeps coming.

Failed to open the disk image file C:\Users\Habiba\Desktop\ubuntu-18.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso.

Could not get the storage format of the medium 'C:\Users\Habiba\Desktop\ubuntu-18.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso' (VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED).

Did you verify the checksum of the *.iso file?
