to Shotwell. the last time I did it i lost most of my photos. they went into a missing file that I can not access. How do I import and save to a file and then bring back to Shotwell so I can edit the photos. Is there anyone that can help or even give me some kind of training. I am very new at this and not computer savvy. I am used to Microsoft and Photoshop. This is all new
Thank you
David

Reboot and log in with the device detached. When the system settles open a terminal and run:

sudo lsusb; uname -a; lsb_release -a

Connect the device, wait a few seconds and run:

dmesg | tail; lsusb; sudo fdisk -l

Copy the entire output and paste as an update.

Thanks
