Complete uninstall to get a fresh install of 9.04

Asked by Don Myers

I want to do a complete, fresh install of 9.04 instead of upgrading from 8.10. How do I completely uninstall 8.10?

Thank you.

You can boot from the live cd, and in the install process, overwrite the current installation with the new installation. Just select to install on the same partition you installed on before.

Hi,
LiveCD or Alternate content a partition tool.

The link includes all the information about installation e.g. from LiveCD including a partition manager.

Unless you're using Kubuntu this time then the upgrade route should be the best way i think.

Good luck and regards from
Tom :)
