Why does Jaunty boot faster?

I have experienced that Jaunty Jackalope really boots faster than Intrepid Ibex. What's the trick?

They removed some things that weren't needed. There is no tricks.
All they did was streamline everything.

It was a bit of a focus for this release. There were a lot of changes under the bonnet tightening stuff up generally so i don't think there were many surface fluff changes but the underlaying systems should perform even better with this release.

Lol, there's too much so it's impossible to point at one thing that made the difference :)
