Ubuntu Screensaver Galaxy

Hi folks,

I wondered many times which applications are behind the standard ubuntu screensavers, like for example galaxy. Galaxy is a wonderful screensaver and I would really like to know how it is made, I'd like to see the source code. But I actually don't have a guess in which package or which program this screensaver is included. Can you help me?

Hi Roger,

     Jamie Zawinski is responsible for xscreensaver. It has many modules that you can load as your current screen saver. You can also write your own modules and add them to the list. Look at his page and download his sources from here <http://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/download.html>. Hope this helps.
