After upgrading to 19.04 USB Epson tx135 does not print characters only images

Hi all,
I`m facing that problem after upgrading to 19.04. My USB Epson TX135 only prints images not text. I have excluded the printer, reinstalled the drivers from epson`s support site, added the printer again and not solved the bug. I looked to CUPS error log and saw a command setting fontspath to a directory that does not exist (/usr/share/cups/fonts).
Any help?

I did better, as I have my home directory in a single partition I did a completely new instalation. But the problem continues. Regards.

Do you still see the message about the directory that does not exist (/usr/share/cups/fonts) in the cops message log?

Manfred, thanks for your help.
I solved the problem. I discovered, by chance, that nom-black text was been printed ok. So I did a head cleanning process and the black text is ok now. Sorry bothering everybody with a so dumb problem. My shame.
