InRelease changed label value to JDK 8 insstaller discontinued

when doing an application upgrade i received the following error

how do i fix this to proceed??? i did read manpage but could not understand how to proceed so i did nothing.
can anyone provide instructions on how to address this error???

This PPA has been discontinued, you have to remove the reference to it from your list of repositories.
