out of memory

I run mySQL for database program. When the program finished it's work. They use a lot of memory and until remain used memory therefore when I use another program that mean I have a little memory to use , and my computer run slowly. Coud you answer me how to gain my used memory, and how to automatic recover used memory. Ex. I have 2 GB of memory, when I run and stop all program I have 52 MB of memory retain.

That's a normal behavior. Linux doesn't waste ram. It keeps a lot of things in the cache after a program-close, so that if the program is reopened it starts a lot faster.
Nonetheless... if the ram is needed by another program it will be freed anyway.

So... no problem. Just the normal way.

up to this point no memory optimizer found in linux and also u should take in to account most of memory optimizers stuff seems gimmicky.In practical the best memory user is linux!
