transfer android data to ubantu

I would like to transfer data from my android mobile phone to the Ubantu laptop. In windows I used ShareIt. How can I do it similarly?

I use SFTP and SSH but you can share folders in the file manager like you do in Windows and use a Samba client. I find the SFTP method is cleaner and use AndFTP to connect. The username and password is your Ubuntu account.
