is ubuntu 9.04 worth it?

right now im downloading 9.04 and im going to boot it from a live cd is it worth it?i mean i have heard a few people say its bad it messes with your computer.or should i what a few days untill it comes out?

Yes it has the most up to date software available. It isnt bad its just in pre-release. If you want you can install it, there is a good chance that it will install without any problems.

Last minute bug-fixes from last minute bug-reports :) I wonder if there's a special prize for anyone finding a bug now? It has been pretty impressively stable for some months now but the final release promises fast boot times and should be worth trying out. Aaargh i can't take it anymore. I'm downloading it so i can have a preview rofls
