move linux to a different hard drive

Hello,
I would like to move the linux partition, currently on d: (sata) to c: (ssd). pls help howto..:) thank you.

You can make an image of the drive in live CD desktop. Once you have the image, you can spit it out to another drive as you wish. You will need the partitions unmounted and you may need to tweak grub afterwards. You can use dd in a terminal

There are tools you can use too like Clonezilla. Just remember to run a final full backup all your important data in case of disaster
