Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon Tessa. How do I get the Wi-Fi to operate, can't find it anywhere.

Asked by Bill Williams

I have a HP desktop of 2014 vintage and got fed up with Microsoft. I installed Linux Mint 19.1Cinnamon Tessa 64 bit. Now I wish to go wireless but there is no mention in the directory so how can I install the driver/s to connect to the internet wirelessly?
