snapd fails to add /snap/bin to PATH

Asked by mcandre

As an Ubuntu user, I expect that Snap applications with command line interfaces are automatically added to PATH, just like PPA command line applications and mainline apt-get command line applications. However, Snap does not append /snap/bin to noninteractive PATH as part of its installation process, such as registering with cap_db. As a workaround, I have to manually add /snap/bin to PATH.

I suggest you report a bug. Manually update $PATH until this is resolved.

Thanks
