Rsync cannot connect to host machine
Rsync works fine for copying files to a different location on the same machine. But when I try to connect to another server on the same network, it simply dies. When I use grsync graphical interface, I get the following error: rsync error: received SIGINT, SIGTERM, or SIGHUP (code 20) at rsync.c(271) [sender=2.6.9] I have not found anything useful on the error on the internet.
My testing command line is
sudo rsync *.html GW-UB2:\back\
(where gw-ub2 is the second machine. back is a shared directory on that machine)
Both systems use Ubuntu 8.04 LTS desktop version.
My eventual goal is to make the second machine a complete clone of the first.
