how to install seaborn on ubuntu 14.02 LTS

while attempting to install seaborn or anaconda I reccurrently have the following remarks:
- load and install miniconda.html; even the 32 bit is uploaded, no success
- must use pip3 to install seaborn but pip3 is not known while invoking sudo apt-get install;
- some packages are broken

If you look at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/seaborn you can see that seaborn is available only for Ubuntu 16.04 and higher.

If you look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases you will see that support for Ubuntu 14.04 will end in few weeks.

I suggest that you upgrade to a newer Ubuntu release. This will also help installing seaborn.

Remark: The executable pip3 is provided by the package python3-pip
