Rev 18.04 YUCK !!!

I just upgraded from 1604 lts to 18.04 lts and the results is YUCK !!! Worse than Windows 3.0
 Does anyone know how I can get back to 16.04 lts on a system that is currently 18.04 lts?

I have never seen a worse O/S than 18.04 lts, 16.04lts is the very best I have ever seen, why would
 anyone destroy a perfect O/S. like 16.04 lts. The only thing I can think of is to low level format
the hard drive and reload 16.04 lts.

I am a retired Electronic Engineer and a life member of IEEE, Rev 18.04 lts is a ugly mess !!!

You will need to remove the 18.04 and reinstall with 16.04 from CD/USB. You can restore your user data from your backups.

What is the actual issue? What is the real problem with 18.04 that you have? Maybe we can advise.

Your profession is entirely irrelevant. If you actually state the issue rather than a lot of rhetoric then we may be able to advise.
