Ubuntu request accepted then denied / rejected

Asked by tommynz1975

If shipit would please put a reason for refusal it would be good and or a link to say received or not received order.

As my order for Ubuntu 8.10 got accepted and sent, when it was released last year. My order got lost in the post. So I assumed it was because of the Christmas post delay.

I have tried a few times to re-order and explain that the cd was lost in the post but no luck. One day the cd is approved then the next day it is denied.

I have much enjoyed the shipit service.
any ideas??

Many thanks

It maybe because you already ordered a few cds. Its a free service but they cant and dont accept all the requests especially close to release day. Try to order another cd and see if the send it.

yes okay..... maybe its ONE order per release 8.04, 8.10.. res noble I guess. taking into consideration that in New Zealand we have online auctions selling things like "Professional OpenOffice 3" quick google tells me of no such product... I can understand that shipit need to assume extra copys are being sold and not ordered due to postal loss or gift.
