Not able to Scan in Canon MF241D printer in Ubuntu 18.10 OS

Asked by S N BANERJEE

We are having a system with Ubuntu 18.10 OS and trying to install the scanner drivers of Canon MF241D printer. We are able to do print from the Ubuntu OS.

We have tried with xsane and gscan2pdf and simplescan but looks like nothing works!

Any help will be really appreciated.

Dear Andrew,

Thank you for your response. Well we did check with Canon website and the company rep; according to them, they do not have conceived any drivers for the same.

I was wondering whether any .PPD file may be developed or not!
