Bug fix in the new Linux Enablement Stack

Asked by Bo Qiao

Dear Community,

I am expecting Ubuntu 18.04.2 for my relatively new laptop HP Zbook Studio G5. The trackpad of my laptop does not work under linux kernel <4.19. The 4.19 LTS kernel has a fix for my problem (I manually tested it under 18.04.1).

Based on my understanding, the new 18.04.2 will have kernel 4.18, which is the same as Ubuntu 18.10. And with an enablement stack. My question is: will this extra Enablement stack include the fix that i need ? how can i know that ? If not included, is it possible for me to submit a request ?

This is the link to the fix that i need:

Thanks for the help.
