Deja-Dup not offering FTP in droplist

Asked by Greg Dance

I have Deja Dup installed on 2x Linux Mint laptops. The first one is 18.3 Sylvia and the second is 19.x

Within the Deja-Dup on 18.3 I see several protocols like FTP, SSH and WebDAV which are selectable from the drop list in Storage Location menu.

But in the same place on the 19.x Mint Deja-Dup installation there only exist optioons to select local folders and local network targets, I cannot see any tooltips to help either.

Both machines have been installed and fully updated in the past 2 months

Is there an additional programme or module I need to add to activate the options in Deja-Dup?

Many thanks

In newer versions, FTP is no longer a top level item and is just part of the network server option. Enter a server address like ftp://... like the tooltip help on that page suggests.
