Err, try going up to the top taskbar and click on

Applications - Accessories - Terminal

that should open a terminal/command window/console. Into that try typing (or copy&paste (with the mouse))

sudo cat /etc/fstab

it will ask for your normal user password, not your SuperUser/Root one. Now do

sudo fdisk -l

It wont ask for the password this time as the first one gives you 15 mins to use sudo as much as you want so that it's easier to sort out some bigger or multiple problems without having to constantly re-type the password.

Good luck and regards from
Tom :)
