Run a full chkdsk on your file system then shutdown the OS (Don't hibernate or suspend).

If this doesn't work then resize the NTFS partition in Windows to make free space and install Ubuntu there.

also please try to boot from CD, open boot menu and boot Ubuntu CD or DVD or pendrive whatever it is.
