One monitor does not turn on after standby in multi monitor setup

Asked by Hein

Does anyone else perhaps experience that after resuming from standby one of your monitors are switched to off in the settings under Devices -> Displays. I have 3 monitors connected to my graphics card. When booting up all 3 monitors are switched on and works perfectly. When my PC goes into standby (screen locked) and I enter my password to log back in only 2 of the monitors are switched on. The one monitor is switched off under the settings. I need to toggle the ON/OFF setting for this monitor to have everything the way it was previously.

I have updated my Ubuntu 18.04 kernel to Linux 4.19.11-041911-generic from version 4.15.0-43.46 which seems to have resolved this issue. Still not sure what exactly caused it.
