Scanner doesn't work with usblp a activated

Asked by Teo

Problem: My scanner Canon pixma mg3650 is correctly recognized, but when I lunch the real scan, it results busy by all software for scan (simplescan, xsane, gimp etc).

This bug is present in Ubuntu 18.04 and 18.10. I don't know in older versions.

If you reported the bug then you don't need a question as well

The fault is of usblp that in somehow lock the scan. So I added this module to blacklist. In fact, I created a file in /etc/modprobe.d named no-usblp.conf, with only "blacklist usblp". With this module disabled, the scan succeed perfectly.
Is it possible to delete this module, or keep it disabled by default to avoid the same problem for the next users?
