First underscore of file name in templates folder issue

Asked by Mohammad Reza Moghaddasi

First underscore of file name in templates folder is not visible when you want to choose your template via Right-Click -> New-Document.

I have a file in templates folder of my home.
It's name is "English_Vocabulary".
When I want to choose my template text file in my preferred path, i see this ( Right-Click -> New-Document -> "EnglishVocabulary" )

I know that in some programs an underscore in menu content definitions indicates that the character following the underscore can be used as shortcut. Maybe this is also the reason for the issue that you see.

About which program are you talking?

I have a text file "English_Vocabulary" in "~/Templates" that is created with "gedit" text editor.
For example, Now i want to use it in this path "~/Documents".
So I right click on the screen & select New Document from menu then I see the name of my file but without underscore .. Like this "EnglishVocabulary".
After that if I click that, this file is created here -> "~/Documents/English_Vocabulary" without any problem.

So just the problem is the show of that in menu.

Thank you!
