I am using linux mint tara on dell laptop. The problem I find is - USB devices are not mounted after booting, through if plugged in before booting they get mounted.

Asked by King

I use linux Mint tara on dell Laptop.

If I plug in any USB device - pen drive or USB mic or USB drive after booting, these devices don't get mounted automatically as they used to in earlier version - i.e linux mint sylvia.

However, if these devices are plugged in before I boot, they get mounted. I have not done any changes to the system in any way other than standard installation and update. The system is up to date.

Is this intended to be like this?

It is inconvenient since I need to restart whenever I want to plug in any device.
