syslog file is huge, filled with repeating message
the file /var/log/syslog and some of the older files syslog.1 etc are huge, like 117GB. I have deleted some of the old ones. It doesn't seem like it happens every time I boot up, only sometimes. I took a look in the current syslog file to see what was up and I get the following 7 repeating lines:
Nov 23 01:41:08 functorbox org.gnome.
Nov 23 01:41:08 functorbox org.gnome.
Nov 23 01:41:08 functorbox org.gnome.
Nov 23 01:41:08 functorbox org.gnome.
Nov 23 01:41:08 functorbox org.gnome.
Nov 23 01:41:08 functorbox org.gnome.
Nov 23 01:41:08 functorbox org.gnome.
Nov 23 01:41:08 functorbox org.gnome.
What is this, and how do I get it to stop?
Additional notes: This problem persisted through reinstalling ubuntu (for an unrelated reason). I have also noticed my computer crashes sometimes, this might be related. I'll open a new question if this is solved and my computer still crashes.
