"ubuntu 18.04" "radeon rx 560 aero itx" 2 monitors does not work

I am running "ubuntu 18.04" with a "radeon rx 560 aero itx" graphics card. Only a cionfiguration with one monitor seems to work. I can use either HDMI or DisplayPort. If I connect 2 monitors, one with DisplayPort and one with HDMI, only the DisplayPort works. I would like to use 2 monitors. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

It is most embarrassing. Upon examination, my HDMI cable is intermittent. I replaced the cable hand now both monitors work.
