Clock will not show AM/PM, only 24 hour on desktop.

Asked by michael

Ubuntu 18.04 desktop clock will only show 24 clock. Settings, Details, Date & Time set to AM/PM. In Date & Time, shows correctly, 11:34 PM. On desktop it shows 23:34. Have installed 4 other clock programs, don't like them as good as the clock that is original. Just would like it to show AM/PM.
Thanks

Try installing unity-tweak-tool and using it to configure the desktop features.

I installed "unity-tweak-tool ". It shows that it is loaded in Synaptic Package Manager. Can find no way to open it. When I click, Show Applications, there is a Tweaks icon. When I click it, there is a list, click on Extensions. On Change clock format, there is a black triangle with a white ! in it. Hover over it brings up Error Loading Extension. Uninstalled, and Reinstalled that extension. Clock remained on 24 hours. Now it will not let me do anything on Change clock format.
