how to open /home/michael/.cache/dconf

Asked by michael

Need to open: /home/michael/.cache/dconf I have asked at Launchpad (ask a question), googled, etc. I am sure I knew how, getting older, forgetting many things. Any help appreciated.

Why do you "need to open /home/michael/.cache/dconf"?
This is a directory containing a database of configuration settings (stored in binary format)
If you fiddle around with the contents, there is a high probability that you break everything.

In case that you want to change some settings, you can use the "dconf" cli-command (not comfortable at all), or the screen-oriented program "dconf-editor" (which you probably have to install first).
