18.10 fails to Lock Session

Asked by Artur Kerge on 2018-10-26

After upgrading from 18.04 to 18.10, computer suspends but locking session fails and a flickering menu remains. For a workaround I have to disconnect any external displays, if any, close laptop lid and reopen. Only then the login screen appears. Locking via keyboard (Super+L) works as it should (session gets locked on all monitors).

% gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.screensaver ubuntu-lock-on-suspend
true

If there is a bug reported then post on that. You don't need a question as well.
