how do I remove the 9.04 software? the beta version didn't install properly and I want to remov

installation was incomplete or incorrect. 9.04 will not work. 8.04 works fine. I just want to remove 9.04

The best thing to do for a stable system is a clean install (grab your 8.04 or 8.10 CD and do a fresh install).
But if you insist on trying to downgrade please follow this guide:
