I would like to know the apps names from the menu

Hi everyone the only thing i would like to know is how this apps are called, i mean their real names so i can uninstalled them, i actually working in ubuntu with the mate desktop enviroment with ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS. I Do not have the software center, those programs i installed them with other sources than the software center so it doesn't appear in the software center only in the menu, i have installed with the .deb packages. I already know how to uninstall programs but i need the name, and yes i have used google before asking, if you know let me know . Thanks ;)

the icons are stored in /usr/share/applications

if you know the name of the application as it shows in the menu, you can run (for example):

grep -i text /usr/share/applications/*

You can see the ".desktop" file it resides in. You can then run (for example):

grep -i exec /usr/share/applications/gedit.desktop

and see the actual command executed. Is this what you mean?
