How to enable keyboard accelerators like Ctrl-Z for non-english layout in Gnome applications running under KDE?

Asked by Someone

I have two keyboard layouts configured in "KDE Keyboard Tool", one is "U.S English" and the other one is "Russia". When switched to "Russia" keyboard accelerators like Ctrl-Z, Ctrl-A in Gtk/Gnome applications do not work. When switched to "U.S. English" they do work.
In native KDE applications (Kate, Kword, etc.) keyborad accelerators work regardless of the layout chosen.

I have layout variant "winkeys" and checkbox "Include lation layout" selected for Russian Layout.

Is it possible to make keyboard accelerators work in Gnome/Gtk applications (Firefox, Thunderbird, Komodo from ActiveState) when using "Russia" layout?
