which ubuntu version is fully compatible with my acer swift 3.

I am new to using ubuntu, and got a new laptop acer swift 3, 8gb ddr4 ram, 256 gb ssd version preinstalled with express os(which i didn't liked much), so moved to installing ubuntu 18.04 bionic beaver but my touchpad and fingerprint sensor is not working in it and i tried some ways to make it function but nothing made it work.
So, i would like to know if there is any version which is fully compatible with it.?

Go for the latest LTS. They are rock solid and aimed at newcomers to Ubuntu

We can probably troubleshoot the touchpad. The different Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Ubuntu variants are exactly the same under the hood, they just have a different desktop environment and user applications. All the kernel, sound, display packages etc are 100% identical.
