Hi,
Sorry to ask very basic. I am new to Ubuntu. I would like to install from a bootable USB [with UEFI] and boot the device without any user interaction [should not wait for user to choose options/provide info while installation is in progress], so I need below

1. Ubuntu OS image with instructions for making a bootable USB [not sure i should go with Server or Desktop flavors, please guide here]
2. command-line Instructions to flash the image [once boot with bootable USB] onto HDD of the device

There is an Ubuntu server version (command prompt mode only, no graphical user interface)
and there is Ubuntu Desktop with a full graphical user interface added.
"commandLine based Ubuntu Desktop version" is a contradiction.

The standard installers (both for the server version and the desktop version) ask certain questions during installation.

If you want to do an unattended install, you have to use the preseeding mechanism.
