landscape-server-quickstart breaks lxd

Asked by Iridefree on 2018-07-09

Running up to date ubuntu 16.04 with the snap package of lxd. Moved to the sanp package a few weeks ago for newer features and has been running great. Installed landscape-server-quickstart for personal use today, as the current server of landscape is going down for repairs. Install was good, registered computers and tried to register containers. Could not get into them with:

$ lxc exec "container name" bash

error:not found

$ lxc list

None are listed.

The containers are still running fine, Can interact with them in a browser, but can not get into them except for one with ssh for a regular user. lxc stop/start/delete etc doesn't work on any current containers.

Launching new containers fails with no lxdbr0. I use br0. lxd init fails because of running containers.

sudo ls -l /var/lib/lxd/containers/

shows empty directory

sudo zfs list

shows everything is still in place

Any suggestions on getting the containers to show up again greatly appreciated.
