network won't establish ofter suspend

Asked by Billy Chaney

It seems whenever my ubuntu 18.04 comes out of suspend mode, network manager will not work. If you could help resolve this it would be greatly appreciated. I'm new to Linux, so please explain yourself in detail.

Sincerely,

Billy Chaney

Are you using a wired or wireless connection?

I'm using wired. I have to reboot my computer to get network manager to
reestablish a connection.

Sorry, but I decided to go back to Windows. If companies made more programs that were for Linux as well as for Windows and Mac, then I would go for Linux.
But as for now I have to stay with Windows. Thank you for your help though.

Sincerely,

Billy Chaney

There are plenty of applications for Linux. Just depends on your needs.

Please mark as solved.

Yes, you're right. There are plenty of Apps for Linux. But I have other things in my home that require Windows or Mac. Which is sad, because I really like Ubuntu.

Status=Solved

Ubuntu is not always the answer just as Windows isn't always the answer
