Fn keys working reverse on a Ideapad 102s

Asked by gnd

I am a user of Xfce for a long time and this is the first time I see this functionality (?).

Usually when I want to close the current window I would do a Alt + F4 key shortcut. But after a new install of Xubuntu 18 on a Ideapad 120s, the default behaviour is that Alt + F4 triggers a "Mic mute" instead of closing the window. This is the same for all other Fn keys (F1 to F12). To actually do a former Alt + FX i have to now do a Fn + Alt + FX (eg. To do a Alt + F4 and close the window now I have to press Fn + Alt + F4)

I find this utterly annoying. Is there a way to change this behaviour to the old default ? I currently have xfwm4 version 4.12.4 (revision 7844952) for Xfce 4.12 on a new install of Xubuntu 18.

I suggest that you check whether this can be set in the BIOS of the computer.
