fails install and cannot send error report

I am doing a clean install on a dell inspiron zion. I get all the way to create user name, computer name and password and install booms after that. It also asks to send error report and i cannot do that either. network is good.

the strange thing is install reads differently then the site explains. I boot off of dvd. I get boot loader. I then choose install not try before install. Ubuntu runs off dvd to desktop. On desktop there is in installer which is what I used to clean install ubuntu. I get to time zone then to keyboard layout and to user setup then it bombs. stating problem with install. it wants to send but report and fails that too. I used ubuntu check disk and if verifies good.

why am I need seeing the boot loader screen as shown in your tutorial and why is it not loading?

Also I am choosing load third party too not basic i believe.
