adding dual monitor option to environment

Asked by Caryl L Polk

Hey everyone,

I am trying to run a dual monitor setup for an Ubuntu environment. I can only get the settings to work in Windows. How do I verify that my Intel(R) HD Graphics 620 card gets recognized in the Ubuntu environment? I have a Phillips 24 inch HD monitor that I am trying to use with an HDMI display connection.

Where do I look to modify the settings so that the Ubuntu environment sees this? I have been unsuccessful with a HP display as well. I know there is a way to modify the settings to allow the graphics card. Where would I look? I am accustomed to other flavors of Linux. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Caryl
