3G vodafone modem with Jaunty?

my 3G vodafone modem didnt work with intrepid wondering will it work with jaunty version!?

Maybe yes, more hardware compatibility is added at every release.
Are you sure that it didnt work in intrepid?

looking back to then...... I believe it was possible but was a bit above me... hoping that it might be a bit more straightforward wth jaunty!?
