screen of overlapping vertical segments

Asked by Dmitry Borisoglebsky

I'm running a fresh Ubuntu 18.04 on my triple screen PC. One of the monitors, 22" Fujitsu Siemens, does not work properly, while other monitors work fine.

The image on the 22" monitor consists of multiple slightly overlapping vertical segments, thus part of the image I expect to see is lost in an annoying pattern.

It seems I'm unable to attach images to this post, but if I open ubuntu.com,
- in the URL I see "https://vw.ubuntu.com" instead of "https://www.ubuntu.com"
- in the main block I see "Uluntu18.0- LTS כut nכw" instead of "Ubuntu 18.04 LTS out now"
- in the schematic beaver becomes misshaped

It seems the horizontal axis is not processed properly, the Settings > Devices > Displays shows the right monitor model and resolution (1680 x 1050).
