Touchpad not working

Asked by Sabina Kiss

I have a Trekstore C11 Primebook and recently installed Ubuntu 18.04 on it (it came with Windows 10 and the Touchpad worked fine with it).

The Touchpad isn't recognized (doesnt show up under cat /proc/bus/input/devices), so no clicking, scrolling or anything. External Mouse via USB works fine (and also showed up under devices).

I have tried to install recent Updates or if it is turned off in Bios, but could not find anything.

Try the boot option:

i8024.reset

Or:

irqpoll

Thank you very much for your answer! I tried all the options and none seemed to work.

Do you have a shortcut that enables/disables the touch pad? If so then press it.
