Ubuntu 18.04 daily: Alpha or Beta?

Asked by corrado venturini

I installed Ubuntu 18.04 from the the ISO dated 20180404 and in /var/log/installer/media-info I see:
Ubuntu 18.04 LTS "Bionic Beaver" - Beta amd64 (20180404)
Today I installed from the last ISO and I find
Ubuntu 18.04 LTS "Bionic Beaver" - Alpha amd64 (20180418)
may You explain this regression?
thanks

It's purely cosmetic. I wouldn't worry too much about it

Yes, that will be fixed surely. Just make sure to download the current daily ISOs from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/xubuntu/daily-live/current/ (e.g. Xubuntu ) or different distros from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ and nowhere else, for security reasons.

Can you help with this problem?
