valuable perl utilities like find2perl are missing

Asked by latimerio

What has happened to those perl utilities find2perl, a2p and s2p ?
These utilities are normally a part of perl distribution, but they now seem to be stripped off on Ubuntu.
They used to be part of perl-doc until perl-doc_5.18.2-2ubuntu1_all on ubuntu 14.
I do not see the reason why these valuable tools are not supported on the later Ubuntu revisions.

There is no Ubuntu 14. It doesn't exist. There is Ubuntu 14.04 which is LTS and supported until April 2019 and there is Ubuntu 14.10 which is end of life.

If you suspect an oversight then please report a bug. If you run:

ubuntu-bug perl

It will start the process for you

Thanks for the answer. It is always good to be precise. So I was referring to Ubuntu 14 just as a back reference. Actually I have tested with 14.04 LTS and find2ps is well available there but not with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Can you help with this problem?
