NIC Problems

Asked by Jonathan

I tried installing Ubuntu in windows and i rebooted. I didn't get into ubuntu, i just got a black terminal. I decided to just use my other computer for ubuntu so i went back into windows vista (64) and went to uninstall ubuntu. Now my NIC is not showing up. i have no internet and a fresh install of windows and drivers didn't fix it. any ideas? Thanks
Jonathan

Ubuntu didn't casue a problem to your Vista installation or reinstallation, tell me are you using Ubuntu 64bit version??

Actually I think it might have been 32-bit. I forgot that that CD was 32... But wouldn't the reinstall of windows and drivers fix it?

Ubuntu didn't harm your drivers, it is far away from windows, windows drivers are different, install windows and use the provided drivers cd with your pc to install the windows drivers.
