How to remove icons from title bar 16.04

On a new install of 16.04 how do you remove unwanted icons from the top title bar?

You can right click pointer above the icon then select remove or from settings you can find top bar and desselect or select what you like.very helpful it is to add the top bar search launcher

Your solution works for Windows 10

NOT Ubuntu 16.04. There is no "right click"

and remove. Please send a specific fix for this

The following Works:

|sudo apt-get remove indicator-messages |

Then log out and back in.

Anna's solution works for FireFox. There are some ways to modify icons (hide, etc) by clicking the open menu icon.

Problem Solved.
Anna N. Koukouraki gave the solution: "You can right click pointer above the icon then select remove ..."
I don't know what version of Ubuntu she was talking about...but her "Solution" was
totally erroneous.
