PS3 Kernel Updates

Does anyone know if the next version of Ubuntu for PS3 will have patches in the kernel to make use of the PS3's wifi and the ability to use the sixaxis through usb and bluetooth? Since these things are all PS3 specific I thought it might be appropriate to include them in the PS3 version.

I would say yes, but to show your commitment you could ask the kernel team that you are interested in having these patches in the kernel (maybe even help getting them into it?).
